Job Description
The Business Analyst will work with a group of innovative professionals supporting a global top tier consumer electronics company. We are looking for an elite candidate to join our team to support, lead, and share our vision for the future of the customer service industry.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing in-depth understanding of business goals of various business units and collaborate with various stakeholders (both internal and external clients) to define business requirements, data analytics approaches and shape deliverables
- Translate business requirements into appropriate deliverables in various report forms (e.g. Tableau reports)
- Responsible for developing business insights reports at varying frequencies
- Independently handle discussions and meetings and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders and partners to ensure their needs and requirements are up to date
- Execute and support multiple projects and ensure the on-time execution of deliverables with great accuracy
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.)
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, and/or Consultant roles
- Working experience in Tableau and SQL required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially in Excel
- Ability to translate different data points into automated Tableau dashboards
- Ability to run SQL queries, join tables, group by results, calculations, and ranking logic
- Ability to properly document different data sources and their relationships
- Ability to perform exceptional quality checks (e.g. find data discrepancies, root causes analysis)
- Exceptional analytical skills and understanding of data structure, relationship between data, etc.
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to collaborate and work in complex environment with multiple stakeholders across various departments/partners and different systems
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Disciplined and self-motivated
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without any restrictions
- No restrictions for overseas business trip
- Must pass background check
